We begin the year very pleased with our achievements, and I would like to thank our families for the important role you played in student success.
A preliminary analysis of our 2016 NCEA results shows students have lifted their performance across all levels, which is very good. Even better – Achievement with Merit and Excellence has increased across all year levels, which is a reward for the focus of teachers and students and the support of families.
This year we have a large group of Year 13’s who have decided to take on the challenge of leadership. All Year 12s were invited to take part in a leadership development programme late last year, and most took the opportunity. Their commitment will be very positive in building on our school culture of success and achievement.
We hope that you will find our approach to communication, through our website and social media, will enable you to stay connected and involved with us as the year progresses. We are always interested in hearing about the achievements of our students and welcome you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any information and images demonstrating student success.
