Our Evolocity team takes the open kart victory! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our Evolocity Team, Toro Atu, has won the Evolocity Auckland Regional Finals at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park in the Open Kart Competition! The HHS team’s custom-built electric kart dominated the track in a challenging series of events, including the Drag Race, Gymkhana, and the gruelling Efficiency & Endurance challenges.

The Open Kart Class is the top tier of the competition, allowing for significant modifications to the standard motor kit, making this win a huge accomplishment that highlights our students’ ingenuity in sustainable engineering. This victory is a testament to the hard work, engineering prowess, and collaboration of our students: Engineering & Build Team – Carter, Blake, Ben, Calan, Riley, Finn, and Vlad. Star Drivers – Liam H and Liam C.
