Science teachers and students were excited to see the development of the new raised garden beds installed in front of their building recently. The new structures will be used to conduct experiments, help other departments and support the school effort to plant native trees.
The current experiments are driven by the level 3 biology students who are investigating environmental factors which impact the growth of seeds. Following this they will be dedicating a garden bed to grow herbs and vegetables for the food technology department.
