HHS students Zak and Zeke have brought home a national title in sportsmanship!
In the recent National Scholastic Surfing Championships, Zak and Zeke were selected to represent Auckland. The Auckland team was recognised as the Most Supportive Team by Surfing New Zealand for the fantastic way they encouraged not only teammates, but also other teams. The Auckland team chose Zak and Zeke to receive this special honour on their behalf which embodies our school value of manaakitanga. The team’s amazing spirit helped Auckland secure 2nd place overall and Zeke placed 2nd in the U16 Boys’ Division.
We are so proud of Zak and Zeke for their leadership, positive attitude and their achievements in surfing.
