Congratulations to our senior boys’ basketball team for competing in the Northern Cup regional tournament for the first time ever! Our young athletes were impressive! The squad consisted of players from our U19 and U17 B grade teams, and they played hard against open grade teams from all over the North Island. HHS colours were worn with pride and both manaakitanga and sportsmanship were on display over the three days. This was the last dance for the Year 13 students on the team, and we wish them all the best for their future sporting endeavours!
We would like to acknowledge Coaches Nigel and Blaze, as well as our sports coordinator Mr Tiller, for leading our boys this season. Way to go team!
