Mrs Saunders and Ms Chishom took our talented dancers to the Velocity Dance Competition at Due Drop Events Centre. It was a fantastic day, filled with dance workshops and rehearsals for the competition gala that evening. The students achieved some amazing results: in the senior solo category, Maddison placed 2nd, Charlotte placed 3rd and Paige placed 4th. Both our troupes were awarded an honourable mention, as was Hasenat in the junior solo category, and Shannon in the senior solo category.
In addition, Paige and Daisy came in 2nd for their duet. Well done students and Mrs Tucker for guiding them through the process of choreography creation and developing effective and impactful performance skills!
