In our lessons this term, level two PE students have spent time participating and applying biophysical principles to a 4-week training programme in preparation for our Ultimate Tāne and Wāhine Challenge. This event is held at school on the turf with students completing a rotation of exercises through a timed challenge. The exercises consisted of tyre flips, sled pull and pushes, medicine ball slams, kettle bells swings, burpees, overhead walk and completing 10 laps running around the turf. Students gave their best effort and had a great time competing.
Our overall winners for the challenge were Lewis and Daniel. Congratulations to our ultimate students!
