Hillary Outdoors Education Centre

This term Mr Beeston and Mrs Ta’ala accompanied a group of Year 11 students to the Hillary Outdoors Education Centre The purpose of this camp was to build students leadership skills by participating in a range of outdoor activities. Throughout the week, students were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and challenge themselves through various experiences. These included hiking to Taranaki Falls across different types of terrain, tackling the high ropes course at camp, kayaking on Lake Taupō, and trekking through mud to reach the caves. The students also took part in an overnight expedition.

A huge thank you to Hillary Outdoors for having us!
