Tāmaki Herenga Waka, Herenga Tangata Haka Ngahau 2022

Tāmaki Herenga Waka, Herenga Tangata Haka Ngahau saw seven thousand people gather at Spark arena for the first live kapa haka event since February 2019.
We are so proud of past students – Elisabeth, Hannah, Peri, Joachim and Noah, along with current students – Chanda and Aaliyah who performed with Te Taha Tū at the event. The group were one of the five Tāmaki Senior kapa haka to qualify for Te Matatini, the National Competition which will be held at Eden Park in February 2023.
Waimarie katoa mātou! It’s fantastic to have our current and past students bring their skills back to share with the rest of Ngā Taiohi o Panuku as they prepare for Ahurea in October this year!
