Meet Rewooded, one of our fantastic Young Enterprise Scheme teams made up of Alexis, Anastacia, Laura, Madhurima and Sankhya. Rewooded strive to make a positive environmental impact by reclaiming wood from local demolition sites and turning it into high quality home décor such as chopping/serving boards and coffee tables. These unique and sustainable items are created using construction waste, which makes up 40 – 50% of all waste sent to landfill in New Zealand. Together with the Re-Creators, a community based business focused around reducing our environmental impact, the team created awesome products from this “waste” material that are ethical, sustainable and good-looking too!
