Year 11 Xavier is really pulling his weight in his chosen sport of weightlifting and competed in the NZ Secondary School Olympic Weightlifting Competition held in Auckland during the holidays. Xavier managed some excellent lifts – 82kg clean & jerk and 67kg snatch – and earned a silver medal representing Henderson High School.
