Technology is a dynamic subject with a huge scope and it certainly has been keeping our year 9 students busy creating 3D towns using the computer design program, Sketch Up. Working in small groups each team was given the briefing to ‘create a built-up area, filled with buildings important to your town’.
Each member of the group was responsible for designing and constructing at least one building. Every building needed to have an exterior with surrounding landscape and interior design.
When the individual task was completed, students returned to their group and joined their buildings to create their unique towns. A big thanks to Miss McCrory for inspiring our budding architects, interior designers and urban planners!
