The recent wintry blast didn’t stop our intrepid students and teachers from taking part in the Hillary Outdoors Camp in Tongariro National Park! Although the weather was wild, students’ got stuck into activities such as bush-craft, navigation, mountaineering, snow skills, rock climbing, abseiling and caving.
During the week of adventure-based learning, students were pushed out of their comfort zones to learn new leadership skills, with each of them facing every new challenge with a positive, can-do attitude. A huge thanks to Mr Beeston, Ms Faitau and Mr Howe for accompanying our future leaders on this exciting journey!
