Last Friday, a group of our talented students graduated from the Tula’i Pasifika Youth Leadership Programme.
Year 12 Shaunavon and Year 13 Rahmona were selected as mentors and worked with the group of West Auckland schools over the course of three months. The programme sees students unlocking leadership skills through learning about cultural identity, goal setting and communication.
Shaunavon says helping these passionate young people to break out of their shell and become positive leaders of the future was very rewarding. “I felt really proud and after spending three months with the group we became like family.”
Well done to all our students for representing your culture and your school, and for unleashing your leadership potential!
