Inspiration for Budding Scientists

21 April 2017

Nanogirl, Michelle Dickinson, treated a group of our budding scientists to a lecture by Dr Helen Czerski, a UK Physicist and BBC TV presenter. The Royal Society of New Zealand Te Apārangi hosted Dr Czerski’s Auckland lecture at the New Zealand Maritime Museum on 12 April. Year 12 physics student Caroline said Dr Czerski’s work was inspiring and certainly challenged some preconceived ideas of the audience. Aaron, Ash, Caroline, Dylan, Robbie and Vanya enjoyed the evening and are pictured below at the event.

Thanks Dr Czerski and Nanogirl!
