Kapa Haka Students Perform at Polyfest 2016

14 March 2016

Henderson High School returns to the Kapa Haka stage at Polyfest 2016. Whaea Rere and Whaea Helen have been working with students since Term 4 of last year in preparation for the competition. Anaru Nathan, Joachim Tuhura, April Taite, and Anahera Harris have excelled so far and have been outstanding role models for the less experienced students.

The group had their dress rehearsal last friday night in the school hall and a shared meal with all their whanau and supporters.

The main performance will be on Wednesday 16 March at 2.20pm at Polyfest held at the Manukau Sports Bowl. There will be a further performance at the Maori Celebration night held at the School on Wednesday 23 March at 6pm.

All the best and enjoy yourselves!
