Whanaungatanga

Our uniform is a reminder that every student belongs to our school community.

Manaakitanga

Wearing the uniform correctly and with care shows respect for self, peers, and our kura.

Kaitiakitanga

By wearing our uniform correctly and looking after it, we act as kaitiaki (guardians) of our school and its standing in the community.

Kotahitanga

Upholding the standard of presentation and treating our uniform with care promotes unity.

Uniform Requirements

Caps
School cap only. School sunhat only. School beanie only (Terms 2 and 3 only).

Jackets
School uniform jacket only — to be worn at school and to and from school.

Jersey
School jersey only.

Physical Education
School PE shirt only. School PE shorts only.

Shirts
Years 9–12: Black uniform polo only.
Year 13: White uniform blouse, or white uniform shirt (tie optional), or black uniform polo.

Shorts
School shorts only.

Skirt
School skirt only.

Trousers
School trousers only.

Dress Code

BELTS: Plain black leather belt with trousers

MAKEUP: No visible makeup

SHOES: Black polishable lace-up shoes

SOCKS/STOCKINGS:

  • Black calf-length socks with shorts, trousers, and skirts
  • Or black stockings with skirts

 

HAIR:

  • Hair needs to be out of the eyes
  • Long hair must be tied up in practical lessons, as instructed, e.g. Science, PE, Technology
  • Hairstyles to be appropriate in the school setting
  • Face clean-shaven

 

JEWELLERY:

  • Visible tattoos – please arrange a meeting with the dean to discuss
  • No more than two small school-appropriate studs in each ear
  • No facial piercings or stretchers
  • No necklaces, rings or bracelets
