Year 13 History students engaged with our local history during a trip to the Waikato. Students were able to explore Rangiriri, the small historic settlement in northern Waikato, before the weather took a turn and prevented further exploration of the region. Our young historians visited the Rangiriri Pā site as well as Te Wheoro’s Redoubt and the Rangiriri Historic War Cemetery.
