A Guide to the NCEA Curriculum
At Henderson High School, our focus is academic excellence. Our Knowledge-Rich Curriculum provides students with the breadth and depth of understanding necessary to excel and ensures they are fully prepared for the next level of study. All courses are carefully sequenced and align with the NCEA pathway at Levels 1, 2, and 3. Students can select from a full range of mainstream core education alongside a variety of practical, hands-on subjects on the National Curriculum Framework. This comprehensive mix guarantees every student has the opportunity to achieve outstanding results.

Learning Areas
Māori
We offer a whānau class – Te Rito o Te Reo Māori, Te Reo Māori, Te Ao Haka and the study of Te Ao Māori.
