The resurfacing of our hockey turf at the end of last year was an impressive project and we are delighted that it is ready for the start of Term 1! This project brings our facilities up to a world-class standard, and we look forward to seeing our students enjoying this fantastic upgrade for PE lessons and sports matches.
This project utilized an “Ecocept” underlay made from 90% recycled materials. This single project repurposed 5,000 used car tyres and eight million plastic bags. Additionally, the community successfully reused nearly all the old carpet.
