A sweet experience! Year 11 Commerce students toured the Chelsea Sugar Factory to solidify their knowledge surrounding production processes. Our young businesspeople learned about all the stages of sugar production including storage of raw sugar when it arrives by ship, how it is processed and how it is packaged for consumers. This opportunity also provided insight on contributing factors for pricing strategies to assist students with their upcoming assessment.
