Torpedo Bay Naval Museum

Year 11 History students went on a trip to the Torpedo Bay Naval Museum in Devonport as well as a journey through the North head tunnels. Museum staff discussed the role of New Zealanders in the Pacific during the Second World War and provided an opportunity for our young historians to tour the museum. After examining nearby landmarks such as rock pools and the Tainui Landing Memorial, students had an exciting time navigating through the maze of tunnels!
