The Curriculum

Henderson has introduced Cambridge exams which provide an international benchmark on the quality and performance of students learning. A mix of mainstream and non-traditional subjects gives every student the opportunity to achieve their best.

Alpha classes offer accelerated learning opportunities.

Year 9 Alpha students are issued with laptop or notebook computers for classroom work and new technology is being installed throughout the school to enhance our progressive learning environment.

Speech New Zealand exams have been introduced for Year 9 and 10 students, to give them greater confidence in public speaking and improved language skills, whick leads to better classroom results.
