Director International Students
The International Students' Director is Mr Peter Coddington.
Peter has had an extensive background in secondary schools in New Zealand both as a teacher and in management roles. Peter's expertise is in working with people and helping them to achieve the best they can. He is very keen for all the students to gain both a fluency in English and a high academic standard as well as the pleasure of a cultural experience different from their own.
His work includes:
- enrolments - including regular overseas visits to education trade fairs, to recruit new international students
- subject and level placement
- academic follow-up
- school discipline
He is supported in his work by International Student Administrator: Andriena van Molendorff.
Her work includes:
- processing applications
- organising timetables, orientation booklets, year planners
- giving special care to new students on their first few days
- in-school care for all International students, for example renewing student visas
- mailing reports
- finding homestays for students
- liaising between parents, agents, students and homestays
