International Student Fees 2010

Tuition Fee: NZ $11,000

Please note that this fee covers:

  • full tuition costs
  • text books are provided free of charge, on a loan basis returnable at the end of the year
  • Government taxes and levies
  • we do provide English as a Second Language (ESOL) classes for all our students who need this support

Additional Costs:

These vary according to the individual programme by the student, so are not covered by the standard tuition fee. They may include:

  • insurance - $450 a year (approximately)
  • stationery - $50 a year (approximately)
  • out-of-hours music lessons $30 per term
  • Trips out of school - $30 a year
  • Special courses eg IELTS - $320 exam fee
  • Entry fees to external examinations and awards
  • Subjects fees where materials and equipment are supplied e.g. Art, Technology, Level 3 Art & Design - $80 - $250
  • NCEA examination fee- $375

Uniform:

For all students. The cost will be $400 approximately.

Homestay:

Weekly Board NZ$225

Administration Fee:

NZ$300 (once only) this includes:

  • Personal pick-up from the airport to homestay
  • Assistance to open a bank account
  • Extra personal care for the first few days at school
  • All administration costs
